What is Core+?

Core+ provides entry-level students the training that employers are looking for!

Attend the 8-week training program that was developed by local ABC members, including some of the Valley's largest employers! Core+ will provide you with the foundational skills contractors working in the oil, gas and construction industry are looking for. Core+ will open the door for lucrative employment and continued skills training.

*Passport is an Oilfield Orientation Course developed by the California Oil Producer group. A valid passport card is required to be eligible to work on any oil lease in the valley. Passport complies with the Kern County Oil and Gas Ordinance Workers Environmental Awareness Plan (WEAP), and is updated annually.

Training is a combination of Classroom Lecture, Hands-on Labs, and Field Exercises
